Blueprint Day set August 2, 2022

Dear Gowanda Families and Community Members,

I cannot thank everyone enough for the support of our work throughout the past school year. As the school year began, we were excited to launch our “Blueprint for Success.” This strategic plan focused on several priority areas and action steps that we would all work on together in order to continue building on our tradition of excellence.

I am very proud to say that we accomplished many of our goals and made significant, impactful changes in the district. For a summary of our work to date and to review the entire plan, please visit the district website: https://gowcsd.org/blueprint-for-success/

We need a group of stakeholders representing the many facets of our school community to come together and weigh in on where we are, where we should be going, and how we can keep growing. Would you be interested in adding to the discussion and helping us figure out what we should be doing to continuously grow and excel as a district? The group assembled will review feedback, review the previous plan and provide suggestions to assist revising the “Blueprint for Success” in preparation for the 2022-23 school year.

If interested, please consider joining us on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. for the Annual Blueprint Day.  We always develop better plans when they are representative of the community and for that to happen, we need volunteers. We deeply value your input and appreciate your support.

To volunteer, please contact Ms. Kathy Ferneza via email, at  msferneza@gcslearn.org, or call 532-3325 (x6300), by 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022.

Thank you for your consideration and best wishes!

Sincerely,

Robert B. Anderson, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
