The Gowanda Central School District Board of Education will host the 2026-2027 Public Budget Hearing on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the Gowanda High School Library.
This year’s vote includes four key propositions and the election of two Board of Education members. Community members will vote on the basic budget of $40,655,630.00, the purchase of four school buses using existing reserve funds with no tax rate impact, the establishment of a Capital Improvements Reserve Fund for future building maintenance, and an appropriation for the Gowanda Free Library.
Election & Voting Details
Two at-large seats are available for three-year terms. Candidates include Zachary C. Nobles, Brandon Newell, and Aimee Gernatt.
