GOWANDA, NY — Discover Your Path in Health Sciences
Gowanda High School students interested in the medical and health sciences fields have a unique opportunity to get a head start on their future this summer. The University at Buffalo (UB) School of Public Health and Health Professions is hosting its “Blue Path” Summer Program from July 27 to August 7, 2026.
This two-week program is designed to provide students with authentic, hands-on experiences at UB’s South Campus. Participants will explore a variety of high-demand career paths, including public health, nutrition, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and athletic training.
Program Highlights:
- Earn College Credit: Students who complete the program will receive a full college credit.
- No Cost to Families: The program is entirely free, including a provided lunch and a bus pass for transportation.
- Expert Mentorship: Learn directly from UB faculty and professionals in the health field.
