GOWANDA, NY — The spirit of generosity is shining bright at Gowanda High School as the Thrifty Panther prepares for the 2026 prom season. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, Mrs. Janene Draegert and the Thrifty Panther team have already collected 45 stunning prom dresses to help local students prepare for their big night on May 16th.
These donations are being prepared for a special distribution event held at North Collins Wesleyan Church on Saturday, April 25th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Event Details and Registration
To ensure every student receives personalized attention, the dress distribution will be held by appointment only. Please note the following registration information:

Registration officially opens on April 1st. * Appointments must be booked directly with event coordinator Jennifer Pisa (2 Danes Furniture Refinishing) at 716-628-9146.
