Gowanda Central School District is officially accepting applications for an anticipated full-time School Social Worker to join our dedicated support team starting in March 2026.

Role Overview and Qualifications
The district is looking for a compassionate, certified professional ready to make a long-term impact. While the primary focus is Social Work, candidates with a School Psychologist background are also encouraged to apply and will be given preference.
Key Requirements:

Master’s Degree in Social Work.

Valid New York State Certification as a School Social Worker (or School Psychologist).
Compensation and Details
The anticipated salary range for this position is $49,049 to $51,142, commensurate with graduate credits (BS to BS+60) and experience. This is a full-time position offering a competitive benefits package and the opportunity to work within a collaborative, student-centered environment.
