GOWANDA, NY — The Gowanda Central School District is officially beginning the development of its 2026-2027 “Blueprint for Success.” This strategic planning initiative ensures our schools remain focused on academic excellence and community-rooted values. Superintendent Dr. Robert Anderson is calling on all parents, staff, and residents to participate in a district-wide ThoughtExchange to identify key priorities for the coming years.
The District has identified four primary pillars for this planning cycle: Student Achievement and Growth, Social Emotional Learning, Family and Parent Engagement, and Professional Development. By participating in the anonymous ThoughtExchange, community members can share their unique perspectives and “rate” the ideas of others to help the District determine which areas require the most focus.
“We genuinely value your input in making our updated Strategic Plan the best it can be,” says Dr. Anderson. “Your feedback will be instrumental in guiding our future plans, and we urge you to make your voice heard.”
The exchange is open now and will remain accessible until April 20, 2026. Participation is anonymous and can be completed on any mobile device or computer.
