Gowanda High School is proud to highlight an exceptional opportunity for our high-achieving juniors: the SUNY Fredonia 3-1-3 Early College Admit Program. This unique partnership allows students to spend their senior year as both a high school student and a SUNY Fredonia student, earning significant college credit before they even cross the graduation stage.
What is the 3-1-3 Program?
The 3-1-3 program is a collaborative effort designed for local seniors ready for the challenges of collegiate academics. Students in the program bridge the gap between high school and college by enrolling in Fredonia courses while completing their final high school requirements.
Beyond the academic head start, 3-1-3 students are fully integrated into the Fredonia campus community. Participants gain access to:
-
Campus Resources: Use of the Reed Library, Blue Devil Fitness Center, and Student Health & Counseling Center.
-
Student Life: Eligibility to join over 150 student-run clubs and organizations.
-
Academic Support: Guidance from a dedicated 3-1-3 advisor and access to campus tutoring and career development services.
-
Automatic Transition: Students who successfully complete the program do not need to reapply to Fredonia as first-year students following high school graduation.
Learn More at the Virtual Informational Meeting
