Gowanda Seniors: Get Expert Help at Financial Aid Completion Day! 🎓💰

Preparing for life after graduation is an exciting journey, but we know that navigating financial aid paperwork can feel like a daunting hurdle. To ensure every Gowanda senior has the support they need to secure their future, we are hosting a Financial Aid Completion Day on Friday, March 20th.

Whether you are heading to a four-year university, a community college, or a trade school, completing your financial aid applications is a critical step in making your education affordable.

Event Details

Join us in The Launch Pad (Room 128) from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. We are proud to welcome a Financial Aid Representative from Jamestown Community College, who will be on-site to provide hands-on assistance. This program is specifically designed for students who have not yet completed their FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or NYS TAP (Tuition Assistance Program) applications.

How to Prepare

To make the most of this session, please keep the following in mind:

  • Bring Your Gear: Students must bring their charged Chromebooks, as you will need them to access and complete the online applications.

  • Parents & Guardians: Your involvement is key! We strongly encourage parents and guardians to attend alongside their students to help provide the necessary household information.

  • Create Your FSA ID Now: To save time during the event, please create your FSA ID in advance if you haven’t already. You can set up your account directly at https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch.

Don’t let the paperwork stand in the way of your goals. We look forward to seeing our seniors and their families there to get these important forms across the finish line.
