The Erie-Niagara School Superintendent Association invited Gowanda Central School District to discuss its journey on student grading via the “Achieving Joy and Mastery in Public Schools” podcast during the first week of May 2023.
Interviewer Brian Graham, who is the superintendent of Grand Island CSD, talked with Superintendent Dr. Robert B. Anderson and Director of Learning and Continual Improvement Ashley Wakelee on the “Measuring Student Success” episode. Anderson and Wakelee shared the district’s grading statement and elaborated on its ongoing educational measurement work with renowned assessment expert Dr. Thomas Guskey.
