Prom Dress Drive at Gowanda High School

Gowanda Central School District is supporting a Prom Dress Drive to help ensure all students have access to formal wear for prom this season.

The Thrifty Panther, a free apparel and supplies resource for Gowanda High School students, is collecting gently used prom dresses to make available to local teens. Community members are also invited to donate shoes, jewelry, and purses of all styles and sizes.

Donations may be dropped off at the Gowanda High School main office.
The drive will run through the month of February.

If you have questions about donations, please contact Janene Draegert at msdraegert@gcslearn.org or call 716-532-3325 ext. 6014.

This prom dress drive is part of a regional collaboration led by Jen Pisa and 2 Danes Furniture Refinishing. All donated dresses will be professionally dry cleaned by Benzinger’s Clothing Care in Hamburg.

Thank you to everyone helping students feel confident, supported, and ready for prom.
