While our hallways were quiet during Spring Break, the spirit of Gowanda Elementary School (GES) was traveling the globe! Before leaving for the recess, every staff member “adopted” a small rubber duck with one simple mission: take it along on their adventures and capture the journey.
From the sandy beaches of the coast to the scenic trails of our own tri-county landscape, these ducks became honorary Panthers for the week. The “Duck Travel Challenge” was designed to keep our school community connected during the break, offering students a fun way to see their educators exploring new places and practicing the same Creativity we encourage in the classroom every day.
